Lynne Stephens

Founder and Managing Director of Australasian Leadership Academy

Lynne founded and Managing Director of Australasian Leadership Academy in 2010. Lynne’s previous career spanned 15 years with TAFE Queensland……firstly with the Barrier Reef Institute, then to Wide Bay TAFE as the Corporate Business Manager, then she was seconded to Sunshine Coast TAFE to build Sunshine Coast TAFE’s commercial capability through the creation of the Centre for Leadership Strategies.

Her role includes developing customised training solutions for Corporate Clients Nationally, building strong relationships, developing business alliances and partnerships.

Lynne has worked closely with the Deloitte Leadership Academy, Edgeware Creative Entrepreneurship,  Gravitas Leadership Group, Latitude Learning Academy, lynda.com + LinkedIn, Primal Solutions, Skillsoft Asia Pacific and more recent partnerships with Skillings Education & Wellness Designs…….mapping online courses/content to National AQF Qualifications, developing & delivering flexible, blended training programs Nationally and Internationally and assists clients to achieve their training goals.

Lynne’s background is in teaching; however over the past 25 years she has been the Key Account Manager for a number of Corporate Clients throughout Australia.

Lynne has an Advanced Diploma of Project Management, Advanced Diploma of Management, Diploma in Business (Frontline Management), and a Diploma in Hospitality Management as well as the Certificate IV in TAE.

She is a Certified Practicing Project Director (CPPD) and Associate Member of Australian Institute of Project Management (MAIPM).

ALA is an AIPM Endorsed Course Provider for the Diploma of Project Management.

Lynne has been honoured to be nominated for many awards including:

Dr Stewart Hase BA, Dip Psych, MA (hons), PhD. MPS. – is a registered psychologist interested in human adaptation and change. He is a therapist, academic, writer, educator and organisational consultant. Stewart has an international reputation in the area of learning, which is at the heart of change. He has conducted workshops and given addresses around the world for a large number of public and private sector organisations. Stewart’s approach to his presentations is highly interactive with a focus on real change rather than the cosmetic, which is a feature of much training and education. Each participant needs to come expecting to be challenged and to examine the effectiveness of their behaviour.

He has pursued this interest through careers as an academic, researcher, a clinical therapist, teaching, and consulting. Stewart has also held senior management positions in higher education. He is the author of over 130 scientific works in the area of change, leadership and learning including two recent and internationally recognized books describing a new approach to learning and training.

Stewart consults for public and private sector organisations worldwide in leadership coaching and leadership development, team development, changing organisational culture, organisational learning, change, organisational development, dysfunctional organisations, and quality of working life.

Michael Doneman is founding director of Edgeware Creative Entrepreneurship. He has 20 years of experience in education and community cultural development, which inspired work in communities (including Indigenous and rural-remote communities) in enterprise development, vocational education and training, and information technology. In the course of this he developed expertise in informal education,and the just-in-time provision of skills, networks and interactions.

Michael was a Senior Research Fellow at Queensland University of Technology from 2002-2005 and an Affiliate of the ATN University network’s e-Grad School focusing on knowledge transfer and research commercialisation. He founded the Edgeware model of ethical entrepreneurship education in 2006.

Michael’s coaching style is warm, lively, clear, practical, flexible and good-humoured. He brings a diversity and depth of experience to the coaching process which makes for considerable flexibility, and he brings focus to the generic value of creativity in the development of entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship, management and leadership. Increasingly, his coaching methodology is enriched by Solution Focused coaching, a positive and future-focused system of working towards clear, achievable goals.

Fulton has enjoyed a challenging and rewarding career as an Organisational Development and Change Leader through which he has established a solid reputation for his ability to enhance client operations. His academic qualifications and experience has ensured strong capability in strategy development, leadership, management systems analysis, organisational culture and change management.

Fulton held a number of management and leadership roles within the Royal Australian Air Force leading teams accountable for driving change initiatives throughout the organisation, and to act as trusted advisors to senior executives. Following a successful career in the Defence Force, Fulton ran his own professional services consultancy company, through which he built a strong base of public and private sector clients.

Most recently, Fulton held senior leadership roles in Suncorp, an ASX top 15 company, where he played a key role in championing cultural and capability change within the Information Technology department.  Fulton led over 500 staff managing business critical systems and, during his tenure, staff engagement rose to become one of the highest within the Suncorp Group.

Alastair

ALASTAIR LYNCH

Alastair was a triple AFL premiership player and captain with the Brisbane Lions and a member of the club’s history-making triple premiership teams of 2001-02-03.Originally from Tasmania, he is a former All-Australian selection, club captain, club champion and 306-game player with Fitzroy and the Brisbane Bears/Lions from 1989-2004. The first Tasmanian to play 300 AFL games, he was a member of the Fitzroy Team of the Century and the Tasmanian Team of the Century, and was further honoured in 2004 when Tasmanian football’s highest individual honour was re-named the Alastair Lynch Medal in his honour.

He was a foundation member of the Tasmanian Football Hall of Fame in 2005 and was elevated to ‘Legend’ status in 2006.Off the field he is forging a new identity in the business and corporate sector. As director and co-founder of Gravitas Leadership Group and APLG, he successfully adapts the principles of leadership in sport to the business environment.

She has over 23 years ‘on-the-ground’ experience in the development and implementation of multi award-winning wellness and human capital solutions for small to large organisations across the globe. This includes two-time winner and finalist of the AHRI Award for Best Health and Wellbeing Strategy and three-time winner of the Australian HR Award for Best Health and Wellbeing Strategy.

Katrina is a sought-after speaker and trainer, having presented throughout Australia, Europe and the United Kingdom, including as an Adjunct Lecturer with the Centre for Environment and Population Health, Griffith University.
