Meet our Founder

ALA Founder/ Director

Lynne Stephens has been active in the training and education development sector for over 25 years.

Prior to founding the Australasian Leadership Academy in 2010, Lynne developed her wealth of experience and passion for training and education during her 15 years tenure with TAFE QLD.

13 years ago, I followed a dream…..

I knew I could establish an innovative  business. A business that offered real meaning.  A business that could keep pace as learning needs inevitably evolved over time.

My vision was to create an exceptional community to deliver specialty programs, where they could really customise programs to suit their needs, outside the restraints of the norm. My passion was always to provide, flexible, customised, and innovative training solutions for individuals and organisations.

From humble beginnings, ALA has grown steadily due mainly to the dedicated, expertise and commitment of our wonderful team and partners.

Lynne is passionate about Women in Leadership, providing assistance to Pacific Nations and Asian countries in need and working with our Indigenous First Nations people is of great importance to Lynne, and as such she strives to assist in any capacity possible.

Lynne has been honoured to be nominated for many awards including:

  • Sunshine Coast Regional Finalist – Owner Manager of the Year AIM Excellence Awards 2013 (Australian Institute of Management), Sunshine Coast Excellence in Business Awards Finalist 2011
